Briefly describe yourself, including (but not limited to) goals and achievements:
My name is Jake i am 23 fixing to be 24. Joined the army as infantry. I am fairly mature and pretty calm. I played an FPS game called soldier front for 6 years competing in 3 international tournaments. Placed 2nd and 3rd 2 years in a row on the national side. Started out on battle net with starcraft 1. I am Stationed in Georgia at Fort Stewart however i am from good old South Carolina.
Why do you wish to be a staff member?:
I have played on RLG servers going on two weeks now and have greatly enjoyed the company of the staff who participate in the game. I only wish to help further the growth of the RLG community.
How long have you been playing on RLG server(s)?:
2 weeks and growing
Do you have any previous experience as an Administrator or Moderator for another server? If so, please describe:
I have not had any experience with GMOD servers. However, I have been an admin for killing floor/ Arma 2 / Minecraft/ Owner of a few servers myself.
List any additional skills (besides moderating) you feel would be an asset to the RLG team:
I hold basic knowledge of website/forums with their settings and web CPs. I own a 512 man teamspeak and a web cp which i am looking to put to good use.
Briefly describe a situation where you were in a leadership role, and how you handled any challenges that emerged:
2010 Shurakay, Afghanistan - Patrolling the border of a nearby town we started taking fire from inside the town. I was a e-4 team leader. My squad leader decided to break SOP and engage the target instead of falling back and calling support. We were east of the town my squad leader decided to have Alpha team (my team) flank from the north why bravo squad held support fire. My squad leader stayed with the lesser experianced teamleader (bravo TL). Which left me in a leadership roll responsible for my fire team. We fall back and flank around north of the town. Once in position we throw a star cluster signalling we are pushing forward so the support by fire team can shift fire and we entered the town. Just incase any of you are military let me explain that this is basically a small hut town basically a village with a total of 10 buildings that has 0 residence and we are only being fired on what sounded like 2 weapons so my Super huaah squad leader was like lets have some fun. as we make our way through the first building we pop another star cluster signalling we are in the town so bravo can lift fire. We form basically a fireing line and engage the target killing two enemy soldiers and continueing to push through and complete the objective. Once completely pushed through i check my soldiers for ammo water and any injuries. It was a successful push we secured the town and eleminated the threat. I lead more soldier in safely and effectively.
What would you offer to help promote and expand the RLG community?:
I would offer my knowledge and leadership capabilities. I would also offer my webservers and teamspeak server.
What do you feel sets you apart from other applicants?:
My basic knowledge of servers in general. I have hosted many servers in many different games and programs. I am not here only to moderate and play. I m here to help this community EXPAND and reach its full potential.

Yeah i am mainly looking to become a member of RLG at first just to be able to wear the tag and consider myself part of the RLG community as i help the server to grow.
I probably should have stated before i am not looking to become a moderator or anything. I just want to be a member. You don't need powers to participate.
