Steam Name:
Chips
Steam ID Number or Profile URL:
STEAM_0:0:6214645 (Profile: steamcommunity.com/id/_Ankoku/ )
Age:
19, Will be 20 this upcoming September.
Time Zone:
Central Time Zone
Hours of Availability:
My time schedule is different everyday, but I am very active online, on server, or on steam.
Preferred Gamemode:
Prop Hunt
Average number of hours per week of gameplay:
40-50 Hours.
Briefly describe yourself, including (but not limited to) goals and achievements:
I have many goals, but when it comes to Moderating/Admining a server, I do my best to make sure that the players are fairly treated, and most importantly, that everyone is having a great time.
Why do you wish to be a staff member?:
I wish to help Cooperate with other Staff Members in helping the server run smoothly. Making sure that the players who play on RLG Servers are fairly treated, and feel that they are wanted here, or have a place where they can spend their free time and enjoy themselves.
How long have you been playing on RLG server(s)?:
Around 2-4 months.
Do you have any previous experience as an Administrator or Moderator for another server? If so, please describe:
I've been active with Steam and Steam games for almost more than 11 years now. I've even started way back when Counter Strike 1.6 first came out. I've seen and been through a lot of experience when it comes to Administrating a server, or Moderating a server. I've been an Admin on many servers on Counter strike 1.6, Counter Strike Source, and Garry's Mod as well. On Counter Strike Source, I was a part of many, many communites. One recent community called "Elevated Gaming Network or EgN," and was a really active Admin on their Jailbreak Server. I recently left due to the fact that things weren't the same anymore when I had first joined that Community.
List any additional skills (besides moderating) you feel would be an asset to the RLG team:
Problem solving skills, for example, when an issue rises on the server. I am able to calmly talk to the players. Everyone can be bias when it comes to Admining or Moderating, but I believe that to solve a problem, we shouldn't take a side and agree that this person is right or this person is wrong. I believe that both sides must come to an agreement on who is wrong and who is right without any arguments afterwards. It is wrong when a Admin or Mod decides to be bias and take a side because he/or she knows this person better than the other. We must come to understand one another first.
Briefly describe a situation where you were in a leadership role, and how you handled any challenges that emerged:
I'm very active on multiple games, and its servers. Counter Strike 1.6, Counter Strike: Source, and Garry's Mod. Players would come and go, but the ones who stay are the ones who look up to me when an issue comes across. To solve their problem or another person(s). I would tell them to calmly talk to me one on one and briefly explain the whole situation. Then I'll slowly take notes on the important parts and see how I can help them with the best of my abilities. Most of the time you can tell when a player is here to troll or that they are confused, or struggling to understand the game mode. Talking is the key before taking any action.
What would you offer to help promote and expand the RLG community?:
I believe that when you have a server with trust worthy Staff members and an enjoyable environment for the players to play in. More and more new players will come. It's good that we always make new friends, or meet new people.
What do you feel sets you apart from other applicants?:
I believe that with my long history of Admining, and skills to calmly take action in a certain situation, will help describe me apart from other players who wish to become a Staff Member.
Any questions or concerns? (These will be answered via forum post reply): None ^_^
