Often during Prop Hunt you will come across a ledge, cliff, or corner that you want to get closer to, but the regular sized steps bring you too far. To inch forward, or take "baby steps" you simply need to press and hold your crouch key. This shortens your foot steps and allows you to have more precision when walking along narrow ledges or snuggling into corners.

ALT+CTRL gives you the slowest speed.
