Steam Name:
Bobert Brown
Steam ID Number or Profile URL:
steamcommunity.com/id/Bobert_Brown/
Age:
16
Time Zone:
US Eastern
Hours of Availability:
week days 4pm-8pm
Preferred Gamemode: Prop Hunt
Average number of hours per week of gameplay:
about 35 hours
Briefly describe yourself, including (but not limited to) goals and achievements: A JROTC cadet (Junior Resever Officer Training Core) who enjoys video games, electronics of any kind, and pole vaulting.
Why do you wish to be a staff member?:
The staff of the servers are very professional and considerate. They make the gaming experience very enjoyable and organized. I wish to make other players time on this server just as great as mine was as a guest.
How long have you been playing on RLG server(s)?:
late August to early September of this year.
Do you have any previous experience as an Administrator or Moderator for another server? If so, please describe:
No.
List any additional skills (besides moderating) you feel would be an asset to the RLG team:
As a JROTC cadet I am trained how to lead people and mange things. I can handle issues easily and effectively in a timely manner. Also I'm taught several different leadership styles. This allows me to change my strategy at will when trying to handle different kinds of situations.
Briefly describe a situation where you were in a leadership role, and how you handled any challenges that emerged: I am put in charge of leading PT sessions for my platoon. One day a cadet was refusing to participate in PT I pulled him aside asking what the problem was. He responded saying that PT is pointless. I told him that if he didn't participate he would get in trouble. He walked away still refusing to participate. I pulled him aside again this time saying that I hate to see him get in trouble and that if he would just participate today that I would talk to the commander about the situation. After our chat he went out and began to participate.
What would you offer to help promote and expand the RLG community?: I could promote the server on the Steam forums and try to bump it daily.
What do you feel sets you apart from other applicants?:
As a JROTC cadet I am trained in leadership and follwship and have personal experience in major leadership positions.
Any questions or concerns? (These will be answered via forum post reply): I am not very familiar with the admin commands where could I go to view them and learn them?
